When it comes to Potions Class, it seems young wizards either love it or hate it.
(But part of that may be because of the cruel and possibly crazy nature of the Potions Professor.)
Either way, it can be interesting to mix up various ingredients into a charmed concoction.
Now if what he’s after is the recipe for a sleeping potion, or an invisibility draught, or a truth serum, he’ll have to pay attention in class, and study that strange old textbook he found with mysterious notes from some masterful Potions student of bygone days.
But what you may not be aware of is that by mixing various Essential Oils, you can also create powerful new concoctions which will have a powerful—almost magical—effect on your young wizard’s well-being.
Here are some enchanting combinations, along with a few diffuser blend recipes to try.
• Arborvitae Essential Oil has a warm, earthy aroma, and blends well with other tree oils, such as Melaleuca.
• Lime Essential Oil has a citrus, tart, sweet scent and blends well with woody oils (like Cedarwood) and herbaceous oils (like Petitgrain) as well as other citruses (like Lemon or Wild Orange).
• Cassia Essential Oil has a warm, spicy, cinnamon aroma. It adds a spicy twist to citrus blends, also blending well with other wood oils (Douglas Fir or White Fir are examples).
• Fennel Essential Oil has a sweet, honey, licorice aroma. It blends well with spicy oils (like Cinnamon) or citrus oils (like Bergamot).
• Spikenard has a woody, spicy, musty scent that is both calming and uplifting. It blends well with almost every category of Essential Oil.
• Cypress Essential Oil has a clean, fresh, woody, herbaceous aroma. When blended with citrus oils (like Lime or others), it can have an exceptionally uplifting effect on mood.
